The No 1a The Featherweight remained available up to the late 1920s, it does not appear in the 1930 catalogue. It is constructed of two aluminium castings for the cylinders and crankcase, with pressed in cylinder liners of hard triple drawn brass, and hard aluminium alloy castings used for the steam chest and cover.
