I use an old fox 3ft adjustable storm pole so I can lower my boat upto 5ft. It might be worth putting a piece of pipe lagging or net float on the pole incase you drop the pole in the water. Length of hook is 120mm and up to 20mm handle width .If you want a longer or narrower one let me know. It is worth putting a spot of grease on the threads before screwing on the pole.
