The Shinto saw rasp and file is a very unique Japanese tool. It is then welded and pinned to form a rigid blade. Unlike other Japanese saws, the Shinto saw rasp cuts on the push stroke. The rasp is double sided with fine teeth on one face and coarse on the opposite face.
