Silver Sand can also be mixed with peat and loam for a perfect lawn top dressing. Unlike other grits and sands, Silver Sand is not usually used for mortar or concrete when paving or laying slabs. Alternatively, Silver Sand can be used to mark out seed beds or forked into heavier soils to improve drainage and reduce water-logging.
