A scandinavian rya rug in a modern geometric design typical of the 1960's in very good condition. Thoroughly cleaned. The rug has a distinctive shaggy texture with 2cm long pile and is constructed using a traditional knotting technique. It measures 30" X 53" or 76cms X 135cms. These rya rugs were traditionally made for mariners and provided good insulation on a wooden floor.
