Here is an original 1722 map of Leicester by STUKELEY. Colour of the map has browned but the plate imprint is clear to see around the map. The paper has a visible grid so is handmade . A few areas of light and shade and a fox mark. Dimensions of framed item approx 31x38 cm Frame is a well made but relatively modern gilded wood.
