The single sheet, on card, is headed ‘Petit Salon’ and bears the firm’s stamp at the bottom, dated February 1896. Very slightly dusty, but in good condition. The firm was founded in 1818, and by the 1870's had gathered a team of prestigious interior decorators, cabinet-makers, sculptors, upholsterers, joiners, furniture makers, bronze makers, whose international reputation was based on period furniture making and reproduction.
