I have never used this adapter, though there is a light mark on the back where a sticker/tag was placed which I have pulled off. It has been sat in a drawer, so very minor scuffs due to that. Otherwise, this is fully functional, offering Ethernet, HDMI, VGA, USB-A and USB-C expansion over USB-C for a laptop. I have briefly tested this on my Microsoft Surface Laptop, but I imagine this should work on any suitably equipped laptop.
