This is a rarely seen 1807 volume of The Miscellaneous Works of Oliver Goldsmith, being Volume IV, 'Essays and Poems' published by Vernon, Hood & Sharpe. The volume is in good clean condition with a little spotting to be expected of a 200 year plus publication. The binding is fairly tight though there is considerable wear to the covers and spine. There are some scholarly pencilled underlining to various passages in the book which can be removed, please see detailed photos. This volume measures 6 inches by 4 inches.
