Beautiful example of a Heath & Co Sextant with original wooden box, no key. Complete, no missing parts that I’m aware of, all glass intact, although needs cleaning, and moving parts in good order. Wear is consistent with used vintage item. Certificate shows the sextant was examined 1961, and receipt shows it was bought in 1964. My father trained, qualified and sailed with the merchant navy using this sextant travelling to New Zealand, South Africa, and India.
