Hybrid Ceramic bearings can run at higher RPM's than steel bearings due to the lower centrifugal force generated by ceramic balls, they are lighter and harder than steel. Ceramic bearings are less subjected to ball skidding under initial torque / acceleration and they do not suffer from heat expansion.
