These gather hoods are designed to allow a flue liner to be installed with the minimum of fuss up inside the chimney throat above a solid fuel fire. the liner is lowered and attached to the gather by self tapping screws ( included) and the pulled back up into the chimney where its seals tight to the inner walls.
