All wooden slats are made of hard wood. The wood slats are excluded from the 12 month warranty. This roof rack will not fit on a Brazilian Bay window. Roof rack weight: 6.5kgs. Like most wood products they will require regular maintenance to keep them in good condition with a suitable outdoor wood stain or oil based waterproof preserver.
