I picked this up a while back and forgot about it ,it's a Philco Ford Solid State transistor radio, model T-162 which the radio museum has down as 1968. I've just given it a quick wipe over with an anti-bacterial wipe so it should clean up better. I vaguely remember testing it before and had a station but this time it seemed harder to find one. I think the waveband selector at the rear either needs cleaning up or work as I jiggled it a bit and got a station.Being vintage and many decades old it shows obvious signs of wear and tear and it is a restoration project. I still cannot believe Ford let there logo be used on another product? .Please study the photo's carefully and make your own judgement. U.K. only .
