Good antique carriage clock made by Camerer Cuss and with 8 day quarter chiming or petite sonnerie movement. Offered in good working order and nice, original condition. Includes double-ended key. The 8 day clock is keeping pretty good time and retains original lever platform escapement. The clock chimes on the quarter hour 'ting-tang' style whilst on the hour it strkes the number of hours. When the repeat button is pressed the clock will strike the last hour before then chiming the last quarter. There is a lever in the base to silence the chime which is especially useful when setting the time! Weighs 1.58kg before wrapping.
