Days Of Future Passed by The Moody Blues featuring The London Festival Orchestra was released in 1967. It is regarded as one of the first , earliest examples of the Progressive Rock genre and one of the first “ concept” albums. First Moody’s album w Justin Hayward and Mike Pinder. The single “ Nights In White Satin” led the album to becoming a top ten hit in 1972. The combination of Rock and Orchestral arrangements was both stunning and groundbreaking and open up a whole new genre to be followed by ELP, Yes , ELO and many more.
