The Book of Enoch is an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text traditionally attributed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. Portions of the text date back to around 300-200 BC, while later sections, such as the Book of Parables, are believed to have been composed around 100 BC.
