This is a vintage or antique trinket box/jewelry casket. It is marked Made Italy. It measures approximately 6x4.5x3.5 inches. It is quite heavy (1lb 10oz) and made with some type of metal. I have no history on this piece so I am unable to say when it was made. I am also unsure if the painting is original to the piece. Please view all photos for condition.
