GB Postal History cover with Queen Victoria 1d lilac, Edward VII ½d green, George V 1d scarlet, Edward VIII ½d green, George VI 2d pale red-brown, Elizabeth II 2½ d carmine-red. A very rare item with stamps from 6 reigns on cover. This item was the subject of an excellent analysis in the RM Philatelic Bulletin written by Dane Garrod FRPSL (February 2021 issue). Images of the article are attached for perusal as are images of the item which include a gold crown seal label on the reverse of cover. Five circular date stamps indicate postage from Letchworth, Herts on 3 July 1953 – the day after the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
