magnetic v block with on/off switch used and has minor surface rust which can be easily removed I believe it to be a brown and sharpe but there are no markings so I don't know for sure but almost all the machining tools I recieved with this were starrett or brown and sharpe that being said it is being sold as unbranded the switch works and it appears to be 100% functional
