De Walt Edge trimmer Model DCM 563 18v the trimmer isn’t working at the moment but I took it apart and the motor is ok the problem looks like it’s the voltage regulator the the part with coil on it which you can buy for about £20 I haven’t continued with the fix because I no longer have any batteries for it or a charger
