So here is the 1979 Fender Strat used by Russ Tippins - guitarist with NWOBHM band SATAN - on stage and on all recordings during the 1980's including debut album ' Court In The Act', and the 'Kiss Of Death' 7"vinyl. Russ only ever played one guitar with SATAN and this is it! As you can see from the photos, this guitar has been genuinely road-worn over the decades. Mods include a Seymour Duncan Humbucker at the bridge which was fitted in 1984, a set of Schaller machine heads, and a graphite nut.
