The DAT40 was available in 68pin Ultra 160 SCSI LVD and USB interface versions. The C5685C is the HP version of the DDS4 20/40Gb internal SCSI DAT drive. DDS4 DAT tapes have a width of 3.81mm, known as 4mm, to give a compressed capacity of up to 40GB.
