Do not release the boat from the trailer connector until it has retreated into the water. Because the boat trailer berth is very smooth and your boat will slip off on a steep boat launch, the boat trailer berth slip pad and boat trailer slip berth are used for starting and loading the boat on/off the trailer much easier.
