ARCAM Alpha 9 CD player Sold as spares/repair This CD player has been upgraded. I don’t recall the details but it included an upgraded clock and other enhancements. It was superb but with one problem….it overheats, causing an “error state”. This was managed by increasing the airflow (by removing the lid casework) and it subsequently provided many years of pleasurable playing. Has been stored in a dusty environment and on recent testing it was skipping CDs markedly. It includes the original DCS DAC used by the Alpha 9. This may be removable to upgrade a lesser Alpha CD? Included remote control Will be posted in original box
