1988-S $1 United States Olympic Commemorative Silver Dollar, graded PR69DCAM

It was issued to celebrate the U.S. participation in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. The obverse features two hands holding torches, one the Statue of Liberty's and the other the Olympic torch. The reverse shows the Olympic rings beneath "USA". It is made of 90% silver and weighs 26.73 grams. The coin was minted in San Francisco. Its mintage is 1,359,366. The coin is considered difficult to find as interest in Olympic commemoratives grows.
