Still in box and never used. We have an earlier version and it works very well. You need to buy PetSafe ScoopFree litter to refill it with, the item description when we bought it said there is a disposable tray and bag of litter in the box. You can buy stainless steel reusable trays for the Base and they work great. Bought from Amazon but ended up not being needed so it's just sitting waiting for a cat.
