I am repairing consoles as a hobby. I am a fully qualified electronics engineer. My procedure is to asses for repair then disassemble and clean, repair and reassembly followed by testing. I have recorded all serial numbers, security marked the components and have placed tamper proof security stickers over the screws to prevent any fraudulent behaviour.
