The House of Smocking Pleater Feeder by Chris Slade is a complete set that includes bobbins, instruction leaflet and strong, pre-waxed threads. It can be attached to the base of either the Sally Stanley or Amanda Jane smocking pleater to dispense threads to the pleater needles directly from the bobbins, avoiding tangling or wasted threads, and allowing pleating of longer fabric lengths without re-threading, making the smocking process easier.
