These Metric Flare Nut Spanners (8-24mm) are designed for use with compression nuts on hydraulic lines, diesel and petrol injectors, gas and refrigeration systems. The flared design enables you to overcome the line where a traditional ring spanner would fail. The spanner has a greater surface area then a standard open end spanner once in situ. Manufactured from chrome vanadium, heat-treated and nickel-plated for increased durability. These are the 6 Point Type and in my experience work better than 12 point type on corroded unions/nuts. 7 Double ended Spanners in sizes (Metric mm): 8x9, 10X11, 12X13, 14X15, 16X17, 19x21 & 22X24mm.
