This is a vintage Keramos Austria porcelain horse figurine, featuring a beautifully sculpted rearing stallion in a high-gloss white glaze. Keramos (Wiener Kunst-Keramik & Porzellan) produced quality figurines in Vienna throughout the mid-20th century, and their pieces remain popular with collectors of European ceramics and equine art. The modelling captures excellent muscle detail and movement, and it displays perfectly on its raised oval base. This is a genuine Keramos piece with the original blue maker’s stamp on the underside reading “KERAMOS – Made in Austria”.
