working Blu-ray and dvd player ,hdmi ,full 1080 , does have minor marks and a little rattle inside the machine ,I haven't opened the machine to see what it is as it is still fully functional as it is and as pictured it is playing both dvd and Blu-ray discs, older tech now so a little slower than new ones but would be great for a kids bedroom or spare room ,or if you can live with the slower speed a main living room
