A great looking collectable hand carved wooden laughing Buddha (Buddai) figurine. I believe it is probably Chinese in origin and has a bit of vintage age. This jolly chap is in an unusual raised hands pose with a smiling face and a mouthfull of perfect white teeth. The wood has a nice patina, especially on the shiny belly area which has probably been rubbed many many times. The figurine stands about 10.5 inches (27 cm) tall and is in very good, solid condition all round without and cracks or damage.
