This was my pride and joy for years but has been in a drawer for the last decade. The good news: physically it’s in good condition and functions as expected. I’ve tested everything, from playback to recording. The bad news: there has clearly been a little bit of corrosion on one of the battery compartment contacts. I have cleaned with isopropyl but I’m not an expert at this stuff. I have however made a little copper shim which works perfectly with batteries. Please please please make sure you’ve read this - it’s a semi permanent solution but ultimately the buyer might want to replace the contact at some point, or permanently attach the shim. I will include a new NiMH battery also, as well as a blank minidisc.
