1902 edition of Oliver Wendell Holmes' "The Professor at the Breakfast Table". This story originally appeared in 1859 in The Atlantic Monthly. This edition is in very good antique condition. The binding is intact. The cover appears and feels like suede, although I can't be sure. I don't know why they would have bound it in anything other than leather. Book measures 6-1/2" x 4-1/2". I can't say it's in pristine condition, as there are some pages with tears and water marks/stains. But it's a fine book for its age. Introduction by Richard Burton (no, not THAT Richard Burton). The inside front cover shows the various owners of the book from 1909 through 2009.
