Almost new, no scratches. The cpu mount area is stained with liquid metal which is not to be worried about and is only a minor discoloration. In fact the surface is now prepared for any future liquid metal applications. You can do your own research too. I have changed my pc case and opted for a a larger cooler. I must say the cooling performance is surprising as it is definitely punching above its weight. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a smallish case like a Micro ATX.
