I caught my first trout at Blagdon forty years ago on one of these flies. It is always worth keeping a couple in your fly box. It gives an impression of a caddis fly so is a good point fly when using a team of flies. Tied on a size 12 2x long shank hook. Fluorescent tail. Peacock hurl body ribbed with fine copper wire.
