Hi, thanks for looking. This is a brand new echo dot which I purchased for my teenager as a Bluetooth speaker for a party. Little did I realise it was ‘Alexa’ and you cannot simply use as a Bluetooth speaker without downloading the app. all she wanted was a party speaker she could just hover her phone over and Bluetooth it. So she found another one hence bought in error and brand new boxed. I only opened box, read instructions, plugged it in and realised this wasn’t the product she wanted.
