This is the part that lives on the rear plastic housing. When winding the thread onto the bobbin the thread passes through this and ensures a smooth even delivery of thread to the winding spool. Sadly I am breaking up this model 5540. If you need any other parts then please contact me. This should fit all the 6000 range It is used so expect some signs of wear.
