Antique Early German Westerwald or Muskau Stoneware Beer Stein c.1780s

The town of Muskau was famous for its brown glazed wares. It is similar to the gray stoneware steins with cobalt-blue glaze produced in the Westerwald area. However, I suspect it was not made in Westerwald but in Muskau - a town in the East part of Germany close to Poland.
