In good original condition. Actual fan is approximately 8" diameter. No switch, I don't think it ever had one so can only be switched on at the wall socket. I will mention that the screws that hold the bottom plate on stick out beyond the base so it may want some little rubber feet adding. Video of it running in the pictures.
