A fine and rare carriage clock made by Henry A Paris in the mid 1800s. Offered in good working order with winding key. The 8 day clock is keeping good time and running pretty strongly from the original Jules type escapement with its helical hairspring like a chronometer. Strikes the bell once on the half and the number of hours on the hour. The one-piece gorge case made from ormolu and with delicate floral engraving. Thick, bevel-edged glass all round and single bail handle to the top. This clock offered for sale by auction or BUY NOW... DIMENSIONS: Weighs 1.42kg before wrapping.
