Violin 4/4.stamped ’Duke, London’ - Well set up - produces rich sweet sound.
A 4/4 Violin stamped beneath the button (which has a black wax seal); DUKE LONDON. This violin was probably made in Germany (Markneukirchen area of Saxony) or Italy (purfling is marked and inked). Late 19th century.
