Oriental but not sure if it's japanese or chinese very old and not sure if it's bone bakelite or even real ivory it is a letter opener but its stuck I am afraid hence the low price I cannot open it I have seen it as a child open as a letter opener I have tried to show it best as I could in photos maybe a collector can make use of it!!
