Rare Vintage/ Antique Shell Mex BP oil or petrol can, it’s possibly a 5 gallon size and an unusual shape. Dimensions in photos. Being old it does have some bumps and bruises, this is part of the charm. If it was perfect it wouldn’t be the age it is! so please see images as this forms the main part of the description. I have not wanted to clean it too much, just a light wipe with a soft cloth. Came from a Garage on a farm. These are hard to come by, as I believe they are Pre War period. This is a heavy item. Not like the later vintage thin tin cans, that are popular on here. This thing is old old.
