A charming vintage tinplate model of a WWI Sopwith Camel biplane, handmade and painted in RAF olive green with roundels on wings and tail. Features include a free-spinning propeller, twin struts, and rolling wheels. Stamped “96” under wing – likely artisan batch mark. Constructed entirely from tinplate with soldered joints, typical of small-batch postwar workshop production (circa 1950s–1960s). Displays beautifully with aged patina. Size: 10" wingspan × 10" length, weight 320 g. Condition: Good vintage order; some surface wear consistent with age.
