Salvaged antique Neoclassical or Victorian cast metal base stand for coat rack or lamp. Gold / brass tone gilt finish with ornate floral & leaf decorative raised relief. Five-footed floor stand with attached frame & loose plate underneath. Heavy! Weighs just over 10 pounds. Total width leg to leg: 18.5". Width not including legs: 11". Plate underneath: 10". Center hole: 1/2". Height: 5". Good antique condition with wear commensurate with age and use. Wear and marks to the gilt finish. The frame and loose plate underneath are rusted.
