A really good useful piece , collected from a local farm attic , this was originally a farm piece that was repurposed by grandfather by all accounts , the handles added and lid made for it , and grandfather made a nice job of it , I have cleaned it up , waxed the metalwork and oiled the timber with a food safe oil which is made for cutting boards so there is no smell and no residue, this piece is in nice condition it was obviously cherished , its ideal for morning sticks or a few logs etc Please see all the pics there is a tape measure for scale
