This is a genuine utilitarian piece produced at Doulton’s Lambeth factory, finished in classic grey salt-glazed stoneware with a softly rolled lip. The base bears a faint oval impressed “Doulton Lambeth England” mark, typical of their industrial and laboratory wares of the period. Originally intended for use as an ink, chemical, or pharmacy bottle, this form would have been cork-stoppered. Today it works beautifully as a decorative object and is especially popular for rustic, industrial, or neutral interior styling. Please note flaws
