Canon Powershot G9 Compact Camera Camera is currently not working. When the on button is pressed, the screen reads ‘Lens Error - Restart Camera’, as the lens is (currently) permanently protruding and cannot recede. Should be an easy fix, as taking apart the camera would reveal the issue. The camera has never been dropped, or hit. In other regards, the camera works perfectly. Mint condition, other than some slight grit behind its screen. To my knowledge, all features aside from the lens are fully working (including flash, LCD display, etc). It is unlikely, but there is a small chance a repair would require a new lens. In that case, this is a buy at your own risk (or skill?) situation.
